This week, Karla presented “Enhancing Senior Safety through Fall Prevention Education” at Immanuel’s Grand Lodge.
Falls are the leading cause of injury among seniors, often with severe consequences. However, falls can be prevented by understanding balance and vital monitoring. Karla’s program focused on three critical elements:
- The roles of eyes, ears, and feet in maintaining balance.
- Managing vitals such as blood sugar, blood pressure, and oxygen levels.
- Proper medication management.
Our goal is to help seniors age in place safely. By providing the tools and knowledge to prevent falls, we empower them to maintain independence and live comfortably in the place they love.
Thanks to Immanuel’s leadership at the Grand Lodge, we can make a significant difference in the lives of seniors by helping them stay safe and prevent future falls.
Home Care is an affordable way to bring Independent and Assisted Living levels of care directly into the home. It also provides additional support when needed for those already living in a senior living community.
